Ray E. Marshall

Ray E. Marshall, 64, of Woodhull, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at his home.

Cremation rites will be accorded, and a memorial visitation will be from 1-3 p.m., Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Orion. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, August 1, 2022, at Western Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Ray’s family.

Ray was born on June 21, 1958, in Geneseo, the son of Howard and Gwendolyn (Beckman) Marshall. He was currently employed as a fork truck driver for Riverstone Group for the past 15 years. He was a car enthusiast and enjoyed attending many of the area car shows. Ray loved the outdoors! He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and storm chaser. He loved woodworking and making things. He was a Bob Ross fanatic, a dog lover, and someone who really loved and enjoyed life to the fullest. Family was everything to Ray and he cherished the time he spent with his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his children, Joe Marshall, Geneseo, Daniel Marshall, Andover, Amanda Marshall, Moline; grandchildren, Lanie, Landon, Liliana, Olen, Emma, Gracelyn, Levi, Callen; brothers, Charles Marshall, Madison, WI, Dave Marshall, Iowa, Lyle (Sally) Marshall, Normal, IL, Dean Marshall, Geneseo, Neil (Alice) Marshall, Geneseo.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
