Ray Donald Nipper

Ray Donald Nipper, 78, of Moline, passed away, April 25, 2024, at his residence.

There are no services to be held at this time, cremation rites have been accorded. Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline are assisting the family.  Memorials may be made to the family.  

Ray was born on April 11, 1946, in Bainbridge, GA, the son of Willie Mae (Ezell) and George Nipper. He married Sandra Brown on April 26, 1966, and later separated. Ray also married and separated from Patricia Freeze. Ray loved to ride his motorcycle, play pool, camping, and boating. He had worked at the Silvis Railroad, George Evans, Kentronics, and the Saukie Golf Course.

Survivors include his daughters Lauri Nipper-McNamee, Lisa (Craig) Crawford, and Kristi Loveless; stepson Willie Freeze; grandchildren Rick Pena Jr., Kacie Davis, Kayla Crawford, and Cierra McNamee; great-granddaughter Alea Pena; great-great-grandson A’zyhier; brother Chuck Nipper; nephew Chad Nipper; and niece Angie Peters.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law Barbara Nipper; and nephew Michael Nipper.
