Raymond R. Miller, age 87, of Moline, died Friday, November 22, 2013, at UnityPoint Health-Trinity Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial is at Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Quad City Animal Welfare Center, 724 West 2nd Avenue, Milan.
Raymond was born May 29, 1926 in Center Township, Cedar County, IA, the son of Virgil Henry and Lillian Mae (Williams) Miller.
Raymond was employed by International Harvester as a union steward and with heat treat. He owned and operated Ray Miller Auto Sales. Raymond loved animals, working on cars, dancing and country music, especially listening to his son, Gary.
