Raymond "Ray" James Teager

Raymond “Ray” James Teager, 88, of Colona, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023, at his home.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Colona United Methodist Church, 1709 Cleveland Rd, Colona.  Inurnment will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.  Memorials may be made to Colona United Methodist Church.

Ray was born on December 20, 1934, in Arrowsmith, Illinois. He married Gloria E. Kershaw on July 27, 1955, in East Moline. He was previously employed as a Supervisor at John Deere, retiring in 1992. Ray was a member of the Colona United Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge Consistory. He loved being outdoors golfing, fishing, hunting and boating. He especially loved to travel.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria; daughter, Pam (Raymond) Phillips, grandchildren, Jeremy (Candy Nell) Phillips, Chris (Connie) Phillips, Tim Krack, Stephanie Phillips, Jamie (Kyle) Kovacic, Jason (Rachael) Krack; great grandchildren, Taylor, Sarah, Noah, Ben, Elizabeth, Becky, Jaxson; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Patty Krack; parents, William and Gladys; brothers, Harold, Bill, Glen, Norman, Ronald.
