Rebecca "Becky" A. Larson

Rebecca “Becky” A. Larson, 80, of Orion, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022, in Bettendorf.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, February 18, 2022, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Coal Valley. Burial of cremains will be at Rock Island National Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the River Bend Food Pantry. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family.

Rebecca was born on March 9, 1941, in Moline, the daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Stephenson) Clark. She married Ivan Hiatt and he preceded her in death. She later married Edward Elmer Larson on November 12, 1977, in Las Vegas.  He preceded her in death on August 26, 2009. Rebecca retired from the Rock Island Arsenal and later from Trinity Lutheran Church, where she was a devoted member and also worked as the church secretary.  She enjoyed spending her time working on genealogy.

Survivors include her children, Fannie (Dale) Balliu, Houston, Michael (Annie Cox) Larson, Orion, and Michelle (Greg) Dyer, Bettendorf; grandchildren, Racheal Balliu, Doug Balliu, Anika Duhs, Cash Duhs, Zach Dyer, Cailynn Sartain, Ella Larson, and Dominic Dyer; three great grandchildren; sisters, Melody Cashman, Quincy, Linda (Howard) McVey, Roanoke, VA; and brother, Robert (Linda) Clark, Virginia; and friends at Palmer Hills in Bettendorf.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands, Ivan and Edward.
