Refugio L. "Cook" Arredondo, 74, of Moline, passed on Saturday, October 24, 2015, surrounded by his family at Rosewood Care Center, Moline, IL.
A Celebration of Cook's life will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38th Avenue, Moline, IL. Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.
Cook was born on February 9, 1941 in Riverside, CA. He entered the Army in 1963 and was honorably discharged in 1965. He worked at John Deere Foundry in Silvis, IL from 1969 to 1992. He previously worked at the Eagle Warehouse in Milan, IL and St. Luke's Hospital in Davenport, IA.
Cook enjoyed his friends and family, spending winters in Florida and taking bus trips for sightseeing and gambling. He also enjoyed gardening, movies, and television.
