Richard "Richie" E. Olver, Jr

Richard “Richie” E. Olver, Jr, 63, of Moline, passed away April 30, 2025, at UnityPoint Health Trinity Rock Island.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday May 4, 2025, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home. Cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Arc of the Quad Cities Area.

Richard was born on April 25, 1962, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of Richard and Karen (Davidson) Olver. He had been employed by The Arc of the Quad Cities Area. He enjoyed watching WWE Wrestling and listening to music. Richie was a kind person and his generosity lives on as an organ donor.

Survivors include his mother, Karen Olver; siblings, Randy Olver, Terry Olver, Troy Olver, Jaci Olver (Doug Kelley), Danielle Borglum (Korey Minard); many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and his housemates at The Arc.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard and his stepfather, Thomas Vermeersch.

The family wishes to thank everyone at The Arc and also the ICU nurses at UnityPoint Health Trinity for the care and compassion shown to Richie and his family.
