Richard Lee "JR" Dundy, Jr.

Richard Lee “JR” Dundy, Jr., 71, of Keokuk, Iowa, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019, in Kirkwood, Missouri.

Cremation rites have been accorded and inurnment will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal.  Memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans.

JR was born on April 25, 1947, in Keokuk, IA, the son of Richard Lee and Marian (Hawkins) Dundy.  He married Dolores K. Johnson.  JR was a graduate of United Township High School then went on to serve his country with the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include his wife; daughters, Shawna Shipman, Oskaloosa, IA, and Christina (Mike) Smith, Jerseyville, IL; sons, Christopher Lee Dundy, Des Moines, IA, and Kenneth Kohler, Jerseyville, IL; grandchildren, Krista Smith and Richard Scott Smith, Jerseyville, IL; siblings, Mike (Fonda) Dundy, Silvis, and Toni (Dave) Peterson, Moline.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
