Rickie Sawvell

Rickie Sawvell, 60, of Davenport, passed away, Friday, July 23, 2021, at his residence.

Cremation rites will be accorded.   Visitation will be from 4-6p.m. Monday, August 2, 2021, at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline.  Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory Ltd., Moline is assisting the family.

Rickie was born on May 20, 1961, in Davenport, the son of Willard and Marlene (Zak) Sawvell.  Rick worked at Quad City Times.  He most recently worked as a machine operator for Sterlite Corp.  Rick loved music, he enjoyed stereo’s, audio files, and traveling to stereo conventions.  He also enjoyed trying new restaurants whenever he could.

Survivors include his brothers, Thomas (Cheryl) Sawvell, East Moline, and Ronald (Julie) Sawvell, DeWitt, IA; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
