Robert C Doering

Robert C. Doering, 89, of Rock Island, passed away, Thursday, November 26, 2020, at his residence.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be made to Svithoid Club or Red Cross.

Robert was born on October 9, 1931, in Denver, CO, the son of Leo J. and Cyrilla M. (Humes) Doering.  He married Barbara A. Martin, she preceded him in death April 1980.  Robert was an active member of The Moose Lodge, Svithoid Club, and Thor # 9 Lodge Independent Order of Vikings.  He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, making models, and making toys.

Survivors include his children, Peter (Sheila) Doering, Moline, Pam (Tom) Evans, FL, Beth Kirby, East Moline, Robert (Linda) Doering, FL; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sons, Michael and Richard; daughter, Christina; 1 brother and 1 sister.
