Robert Gaddis, Jr., 59, of Moline, IL, died Wednesday, June 04, 2014, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, IL, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services. Memorials may be made to the family. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Robert was born on November 28, 1954, in Hattiesburg, MS, the son of Robert and Johnnie (Craft) Gaddis. He married Cyd Taylor on November 25, 2012, in East Moline, IL.
Robert was self-employed as a tree trimmer. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being outdoors. Robert was a great encourager of youth. More than anything Robert loved his family and their time spent together.
