Robert E. "Bob" John

Robert "Bob" E. John, 78, of Orion, IL, died Monday, April 16, 2012 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, 1301 4th Street, Orion. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Western Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Robert was born on April 7, 1934 in Macomb, IL, the son of Cassius and Ethel (Macklin) John. He married Jerry Tabasinsky in November of 1969. Robert worked as a Laborer for John Deere Harvester, retiring in 1992. He enjoyed woodcrafting, gardening, and playing cards with his friends. Robert was a volunteer at the Moline Activity Center.
