Robert R. Johnson

Robert R. Johnson, 69, of East Moline, passed away, January 21, 2025, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 27, 2025, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established. 

Robert was born on December 17, 1955, in Moline, IL, the son of Alice A. (Truett) and William Raymond Johnson. He married Terry Teats on July 26, 1975, at the United Methodist Church in Erie, IL. He was a member of the Eagles Club in Carbon Cliff and enjoyed participating in Civil War reenactments. Robert loved camping at the Scott Family Park in Colona, IL. Robert loved all of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild dearly.

Survivors include his wife, Terry; daughter, Kadie (Jason) Revels of Colona; son, William R. (Elizabeth) Johnson of Moline; grandchildren, Kylee Johnson, Alison Revels, Grayson Johnson, and Christine Leihsing; great-grandson, Alonzo Ralston; sisters, Rose Sappington of Silvis and Kathryn Church of Colona; special dog, Dunkin Donut.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Braden Johnson; brother Pat Johnson and infant brother William Jennings Johnson; sister, Lois Johnson.
