Robert Lee Knowlton

Robert Lee Knowlton, 79, of East Moline, IL, died Thursday, June 29, 2017, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline, IL.

Cremation rites have been accorded and inurnment will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens.  Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Robert was born on May 28, 1938, in Moline, IL, the son of William and Caroline Stoltenberg Knowlton.  He worked as a janitor for the former Church of Peace in Rock Island, IL, retiring in 1972.

Survivors include his sisters, Helen and Barbara Knowlton, both of East Moline.
