Robert "Bob" G. McNalley, 72, of East Moline, IL, died Monday, July 21, 2014, at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport, IA.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to Noon at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Moline Firefighter's IAFF Local 581.
Bob was born on September 14, 1941, in Moline, IL, the son of Charles and Marjorie Covert McNalley.
He married Mary M. Munger on October 31 1959, in Silvis, IL, and she preceded him in death on March 25, 2013. He worked as a pattern maker for 41 years retiring from Precision Performance Pattern in 2000.
In his early years, Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting, and bowling. Later, he enjoyed tinkering in the garage with his good friend, Harold Clark, and watching NASCAR. Above all, Bob loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
