Robert Rennick

Robert R. Rennick, 90, of East Moline, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Hammond-Henry Hospital, Geneseo.

Private burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, on December 2, 2020.  Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family.

Bob was born on November 26, 1930, in Davenport, IA, the son of August and Mary (Fuller) Rennick. He married Lois G. Lafond on January 29, 1955 in Davenport, IA. She preceded him in death on March 10, 2005, in Rock Island.  He retired from John Deere as a machine operator in the shipping and receiving department in 1987.

Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards, and collecting coins. He loved listening to country and bluegrass music. Robert also enjoyed spending time with his family.  He was an avid Atlanta Braves fan.

Survivors include his son, Ronald (Sandra) Rennick, Moline; daughters, Pamela (Joseph) Huntley, Moline, and Roberta Rennick, East Moline; grandchildren, Allison (Christopher) Sproule, Byron, IL, Austin (Monica) Rennick, Gurnee, IL, and David (Lisa) Huntley, Moline; great grandchildren, Dylan, Irelynd, Bruce, Lydia, Vivian, Austin, and KK; sister, Nancy Jones, Colona.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife; sisters, Mary, Alice, Pat, and Lennice.
