Robert L. Seibert, Jr., 72, of Moline, passed away on April 12, 2026, at MercyOne Genesis Medical Center in Silvis.

Robert was born on May 9, 1953, in Moline, the son of Robert Lee and Marylou (Hicks) Seibert. He was born in Moline and spent his childhood in Coal Valley, IL. He graduated from Moline High School in 1971 and married classmate, Marilyn Anderson in 1973. He proudly served in the Marine Corps Reserves. He was employed for many years at Case IH, East Moline factory until the plant closed in 2004. Bob then worked at John Deere Davenport Works until he retired.

He was the proud and loving father of his son, Sandy, and his daughter, Amanda. He was very involved with their activities, and the family had many memorable vacations and camping trips together. He also volunteered for many years at Faith Lutheran Church where he was involved with the Youth Programs. He spent a lot of time being active with his buddies running and playing racquetball at the YMCA. Bob completed a few full marathons and completed over a dozen Quad-City Times Bix 7 Road Races throughout the years. Later in life, he enjoyed sharing laughs, playing dominos with friends, telling in-depth stories, and fishing.

He is survived by his children Sandy (Anna) Seibert, Amanda (Bill) Allison and grandsons, Will and Wade Allison. Siblings include Steve (Sue) Seibert, Karen (Paul) Morford, Denise (Merle) Borisek, Dana (Mike) McNaught and Lori Seibert.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday April 18, 2026, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Cremation rites will take place following the visitation and private burial will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family.
