Robert “Bob” E. Mangelsdorf, 46, of Moline, IL, died Thursday, December 08, 2016, at home.
A family directed memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 12, 2016, with a visitation one hour prior to the service at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 4107 21st Avenue, Moline. Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and burial of cremains will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Rock Island. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Robert was born on April 1, 1970, in Moline, IL, the son of Robert H. and Margaret Yager Mangelsdorf. He worked as a CNC operator for Gett Industries.
Survivors include his mother, Margaret, Moline, IL; sister, Kathy (Kevin) Morse, Ft. Wayne, IN; brothers, David (Ann) Mangelsdorf, Milan, IL, John (Sylvia) Mangelsdorf, Panama City, FL, Bill (Wendy) Mangelsdorf, South Bend, IN, and Paul (Kerry) Mangelsdorf, Moline, IL; several nieces and nephews; dog, Bogart.
He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Richard.
