Roger Hoffman

Roger Hoffman, 64, of East Moline, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, IA.

Cremation rites will be accorded.  A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday October 3, 2021, from 11-5 p.m. at Roger’s house 3617 18th St East Moline, IL 61244.  Memorials may be made to University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital PO Box 4550 Iowa City, IA 52244-4550.

Roger was born on December 5, 1956, in Quincy, IL, the son of George and Jane (Salsbery) Hoffman.  He worked for 46 years as an Operating Engineer for Union Local 150.  Roger was a member of Silvis Doric Lodge #898 as well as The Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1839 Carbon Cliff.  He enjoyed riding his Harley and was a member of A.B.A.T.E.  Roger’s greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his son, Justin (Danielle) Hoffman; grandchildren, Nathan, Kyle, Lucas, and Brody; and sister, Georgina (Jerry) Allison.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 sisters.
