Ronald "Ron" M Steagall

Ronald “Ron” M. Steagall, 62, of Coal Valley, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at the Rock Island Moose Lodge 190, 4410 9th St #190, Rock Island, IL 61201.

Ron was born October 28, 1960, in Moline, Illinois, to Melvin and Lois (Walker) Steagall.  Ron was united in marriage to Silvia Kaiser on January 28, 1999, in Jamacia. Ron was a CDL instructor and driver trainer for XPO Logistics for twenty-nine years.  He enjoyed fishing trips with his boys, motorcycles, his Camaro, the campground, and being with family and friends.

Ron is survived by his wife Silvia, daughters Angela Rinehart and Paula Rinehart, sons Christopher (Lynn) Rinehart, Darron (Elizabeth) Steagall, Allyn (Samantha) Steagall, grandchildren Hayden, Isabella, Thomas, Savannah, Destiny, Bessie, and Wrenly, and his sisters Sher Allen and Tonya Steagall.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jerry and Steve, and sister Cindy.
