Rosellyn M. Cowley

Rosellyn M. Cowley, 78, of Hampton, IL, passed away February 5, 2026, at UnityPoint Health Trinity Rock Island.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Friday February 13, 2026, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Memorials may be made to the Animal Aid Humane Society, Moline. Scrapbooking friends, please bring your pictures to the visitation.

Rosellyn was born on December 1, 1947, in Rock Island, the daughter of James H. and Glora Polly (Pollock) Zirbes. She married Rollin J. Cowley on May 19, 1972, in Rock Island. Rosellyn had been employed with the USPS for 35 years working as a clerk and in the accounting department, retiring after 20 years as Postmaster of the Cordova US Post Office in 2003. She enjoyed scrapbooking, quilting, basket weaving, traveling and being with her friends.

Survivors include her husband, Rollin Cowley; sister, Lynette (Kenneth) Buckrop and her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a brother.
