Ruth Lee Dahl

Ruth Lee Dahl, 73, of Moline, passed away, August 14, 2025, at Allure of Quad Cities.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 18, 2025, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family, for a fund to be established in her name.

Ruth was born on May 29, 1952, in Muscatine, IA, the daughter of Walter “Bud” and Verlea (Boyles) Davison. She married Lyle E. Dahl in New Boston, IL on August 4, 1973. Ruth graduated from Black Hawk College and later worked as a HR Specialist on the Rock Island Arsenal. She was a member of the Women’s Legion Auxiliary and a member of the Order of Eastern Star (OES), where she was a former secretary. Ruth enjoyed traveling and having game nights. Ruth also loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

Survivors include her husband, Lyle; daughters, Nicole (David) Franing of Shelby Township, MI, Brenda (David) Ray of Rock Island, IL, and Dawn (Kendall) Dahl of Alsip, IL; grandchildren, Sage Ray, Soren Ray, and Kiera Bruton.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Brenda Fessenden.
