Ruth A. Dahlquist

Ruth A. Dahlquist, 99, of Woodhull, IL, passed away, June 20, 2025, at Hillcrest Home, Geneseo.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Per the family’s wishes, there are no services to be held. Inurnment will be at the Rock Island National Cemetery at a later date. Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., are assisting the family with arrangements.

Ruth was born on February 25, 1926, in Western Township, IL, the daughter of Clifford and Inez (Larson) Peterson. She married Richard L. Dahlquist on January 25, 1946, at the Gordon Memorial Church in Moline; he preceded her in death on October 2, 1988.

Survivors include her son, Darrell (Marietta) Dahlquist.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; sons, Jeffrey and Matt Dahlquist; daughter, Kathleen Parker.
