Sandra was born on October 25, 1952, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Theodore Morton and Evelyn Bernice Merrill Markley, Sr.
Survivors include her daughter, Michele Kurtenbach, Moline, IL; brothers, Richard Markley, Moline, IL, and Theodore Markley, Jr., AR; sisters, Pat (Jeffrey) Elsbury, Moline, IL, Kathy Wright, Champlin, MN, Cindy (Bill) Markley, Moline, IL, and Tammy Farmer, AR.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Cheryl Kimberling.
