Sevilla "Grandma Ruth" Wilson

Sevilla R. “Grandma Ruth” Wilson, 92, of Rolla, Missouri, formerly of Moline, passed away Friday, December 10, 2021, at Good Samaritan in Davenport.

Cremation rites will be accorded. Esterdahl Morty & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family.

Ruth was born on June 21, 1929, in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of Lawrence F. and Sarah M. (Buntenbach) Smith. She married Buddy L. Wilson on September 18, 2011, and he preceded her in death on December 15, 2019. Ruth worked for over 30 years as the bookkeeper at Miller Florist in Moline.  She also worked in inmate transport with Phelps County. Ruth was a very hard worker and lover her jobs.  Ruth was a member of the Celebration Church in Rolla, Missouri and enjoyed writing letters and cards to her church friends.

Survivors include her granddaughter, Susanna (Fermin, Sr.) Garibay, Moline; great grandchildren, Charles, Daniel and Fermin, Jr.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carrie and her husband.
