Sharon L. Bowers Anselmi Rock

Sharon L. Bowers Anselmi Rock, 79, of Silvis, IL, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, in Hampton, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Rock Island National Cemetery.

Sharon was born on May 4, 1947, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Clarence “Corky” and Violet (Robinson) Bowers. She married Michael Anselmi in Moline, IL on December 23, 1972, and later separated and remained special friends. Sharon then married Robert “Bob” P. Rock Sr on November 15, 2003; he preceded her in death on April 26, 2018.

She was a member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary in Moline. Sharon was an avid Elvis fan and a follower of her kids and grandkids’ sporting events. In her free time, she enjoyed playing bingo, being in a pool league, and socializing with her friends.

Survivors include her children, Jessica R. (Jeremiah) Berhenke of Hampton, IL and Amanda K. Rentfro of Bettendorf, IA; 8 grandchildren, Michaela Guthrie, Braedon Anselmi, Madison Guthrie, Andy “A.J.” Anselmi, Tyler Berhenke, Jake Berhenke, Miah Berhenke, and Samantha Rentfro; 4 great-grandchildren, Ophelia Myers, Micah Murray, Malachi Murray, Violet Berhenke, and one more on the way; brother, Brian (Kristin) Bowers of Scottsdale, AZ; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert “Bob” Rock Sr; stepmother, Alice Bowers; sister, Sandy (Bill) Bigham; special friend, Karen Anselmi.
