Sharon M. Shinn

Sharon M. Shinn, 77, of Andover, IL, passed away, January 28, 2026, at Hammond-Henry Hospital, Geneseo.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Orion United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Orion. Interment will be at Andover Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family, for a fund to be established.

Sharon was born on July 15, 1948, the daughter of Peter and Shirley (Adams) Cuoco. She married Roger Shinn in Colona, IL on October 28, 1972. Sharon worked as a housekeeper for local hotels in the Quad Cities area up until 2005. She was a member of the Orion United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Roger Shinn; children, Rodney (Deena) Shinn of Midland, NC, Jennifer (Christopher) Dobbels of Cambridge, IL, Amanda “Mandy” (David Culp) Browning Culp of Clyde, NC, and Erica Gamble of Moline, IL; grandchildren, Jakob Zopfi, James Dobbels, Jacob Dobbels, Joshua Dobbels, Clayton Browning, Nicholas Browning, Adam Browning, Nevan Browning, and Arianna Gamble; sisters, Yvonne Porschke and Dianna (Jerry) VanWinkle; brother, Peter (Pat) Cuoco.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Derek Thomas, and sister, Barbara Eustler.
