Shirley Strait, 82, of East Moline, IL, died Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline, IL.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 16, 2014, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the family.
Shirley was born on February 5, 1932, in Colesburg, IA, the daughter of Henry W. and Genevieve M. (Fisch) Kamps. She married Robert E. Strait on July 23, 1950, in Dubuque, IA, and he preceded her in death on June 2, 1989. Shirley worked as a C.N.A. for Addus Health Care. Prior to that, she worked at the Canteen Corp in the Farmall Plant.
Shirley was a member of Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall in Moline and the Moline Viking's Clara Lodge 118.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law, Beth; 2 brothers.
