Steven M. Overfield, 65, of Alexandria, AL, formerly of Moline, IL, died Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at UAB Medical Center, Birmingham, AL.
A graveside service will be held at 9 a.m. Friday July 3, 2015, at National Cemetery at the Rock Island Arsenal. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with services.
Mr. Overfield was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Overfield; son, Steven Overfield Jr. (Colleen); daughters, Jennifer Echols, Carrie Overfield; mother, Diane Overfield; grandchildren, Julie, Emily, Nathan, and Brady; sister, Christine Wheeler (Dr. Ron); brothers, Jon Overfield (Darcy) and David Overfield (Misty).
Mr. Overfield is preceded in death by his father, Norlan Overfield.
