Dr. Sumant Mishra, 55, of East Moline, IL, died Thursday, March 06, 2014, at his home.
A visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. with a funeral service at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 7, 2014, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline, IL. Per his wishes, cremation rites will follow the services. Memorials may be made to Rock Island County Animal Care and Control.
Sumant was born on June 1, 1958, in Varanasi, India, the son of Manmohan and Nirmala Mishra. He married Ila Singh on January 18, 1987, in India.
Sumant worked as a chiropractor in Sterling, IL. He then managed his own practice, Dr. Mishra Chiropractic & Massage, in East Moline. He enjoyed cooking, singing, and spending time with his family and pets. He was always in high spirits and will be remembered for his great sense of humor.
Survivors include his loving wife, Ila
