Susan L. Smith

Susan L. Smith, 75, of Davenport, passed away Friday September 1, 2023, at her home.

A celebration of Sue's life will be held on Sunday September 10 from 2:00 to 5:00 at the Buffalo Community Center, 426 Clark Street, Buffalo, Iowa.  The Smith family hopes to see you there. Memorials may be given to the family for a fund to be established.

Susan was born on November 12, 1947, in Davenport, the daughter of Robert and Nelda (Riessen) Kroeger. She married Ronnie L. Smith on June 18, 1966, in Davenport. He preceded her in death on January 27, 2009. Susan and Ron were the former owners of Smith Auto Sales. She loved cooking, cross stitching, crocheting, sports and especially racing.

Survivors include her children, Nathan (Trisha) Smith, Kyle Smith, Klint (Lorrie) Smith, Kelly (Justin) Rader; grandchildren, Cassandra, Austin, Allyson, Alec, Abbey, Ashley, Easton, Jace, and Ronni; brother, Mark (Cheryl) Kroeger.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
