Taylor was born on May 31, 2004, at Trinity Hospital in Moline and lived a full and happy life that was abruptly ended on Earth. Taylor’s family and vast network of friends and people who loved him are devastated and heartbroken that he is gone.
Taylor attended Temple Christian/Quad Cities Christian Schools and graduated in May of 2023. A special teacher would say of him, “He liked to do everything!” He enjoyed and was good at sports including ice skating, golf, basketball, soccer, fishing, skiing, bowling, scootering, and playing pool. He also spent time gaming and was good at drawing.
Taylor grew up at First Evangelical Free Church in Moline and attended youth group, participated in Junior Bible Quizzing, and helped with kids club. Taylor placed his faith in Jesus Christ alone for forgiveness of his sins and the free gift of eternal life. Taylor made a public confession of his faith through baptism at Sanctuary Church, East Moline.
Taylor’s passion for cars resulted in an interest and skill in detailing which he loved to do. Taylor had a variety of jobs, and he had hoped to become a police officer someday. It was his dream car, a 2016 Ford Mustang EcoBoost, which sadly took his life.
Additional relatives besides his mom and birth mom are uncle, Dan McGill; birth-grandparents, Burt and Sherry Bolt; birth aunt, Katherine Bolt; and numerous cousins and extended family. Most notably are Taylor’s half-siblings and their families: Austin Lonergan, AJ Schwarz, Keegan Bragg, Cody Schwarz, Jordan Jensen, and Bella Rice.
