Ted F. Newquist, 85, of Moline, IL, died March 5, 2016, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, IL.
Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Ted was born on May 28, 1930, in Moline, IL, the son of Carl G. and Alice Johnson Newquist. He worked as a pricing analyst for John Deere for 34 years, retiring on June 1, 1992.
Survivors include his brother, David (Virginia) Newquist, Aberdeen, SD; 2 nieces; a nephew; 3 grand nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Edson.
