Terry Shouse

Terry Shouse, 70, of Columbia Tennessee, formerly of the Quad Cities, passed away, October 1, 2023, at Maury Regional Medical Center.


Visitation will be Sunday October 8, 2023, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. Moline. Private burial will take place at Pleasant View in Hartley, Iowa. Memorials may be made to A Soldier's Child (www.asoldierschild.org/).


Terry was born on May 21, 1953, in Hartley, Iowa, the son of Wayne and Lois. Terry attended the University of Iowa and most recently worked as a retail store manager. He previously worked for National Foods, Eagle Foods, and Eagle Country Markets, and had also been employed by Congressman Bobby Schilling. Terry enjoyed music of all kinds and had an extensive vinyl record collection. He loved to travel and spend time in the mountains. Terry was an active member of Wildwood and Edgewood Churches. Terry spent the past six years in Tennessee with his daughter, son-in-law, and grandsons. He was actively involved at Pleasant Heights Baptist Church as well as many charities, spending much of his time helping others.


Survivors include his children Jereamy Shouse and Sherri (Jeremy) Smith, as well as his grandchildren Tayler and Kaitlyn Shouse, and Elijah and Ezekiel Smith.


He was preceded in death by sisters Kathy and Sheryl Shouse, brother Gary, and parents Wayne and Lois.
