Thomas Michael Allison

Thomas Michael Allison, 58, of Moline, IL, died Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at home.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. with a visitation from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, August 19, 2017, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline.  Cremation rites have been accorded and inurnment will be at Moline Memorial Park.  Memorials may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.

Thomas was born on September 16, 1958, in Moline, IL, the son of Herbert James and Mary Louise Vogt Allison.  He married Ruth Anne Stiner on April 20, 2000, in Rock Island, IL.  He retired as an Operations Manager from UTI Warehousing and TBD Logistics, a third-party warehousing company for CNH.

Thomas loved to fish at the Rock Island Conservation Club, especially with his children and grandchildren, as well as have endless conversations while smoking at his table.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Allison; 4 children, Jaren Allison, MO, Amie Allison, Bettendorf, IA, Emily (Tonja) Behnken, Moline, IL, Matthew Behnken, East Moline, IL; 9 grandchildren, Jaren Allison, Tommy Allison, Penelope Allison, Brody Sanders, Maisie Sanders, Ryker Sanders, Kilee Behnken, Kierstin Salisbury, and Gracie Lydon; brothers, Dave (Jeanne) Allison, Davenport, IA, and Herbert Allison, Moline, IL; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, MariLou Allison.
