Thomas Barnhart

Thomas “Tom” L. Barnhart, 82, of Moline, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at UnityPoint Health, Trinity Rock Island.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, August 22, 2022, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services.  Cremation rites will follow services. Memorials may be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Moline, where Tom was a member.

Tom was born on November 16, 1939, in Muscatine, IA, the son of Lee and Laura Barnhart. He married Beverly J. Rigby in March of 1985, in Rock Island. He previously worked at the Waste Water Treatment Plant at Deere & Company and later as a bus driver at Johannes Bus Service. Tom enjoyed tending to his yard and helping others.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly; sons, Mike (Laura) Thompson, Clifford Barnhart; daughter, Lisa (Larry) Truitt; several grandchildren; sisters, Sandra Slater, Ann (Ted) Hatfield; brother, Jim (Judy) Barnhart.

He was preceded in death by parents.
