Thomas Bull

Thomas “Tom” Bull, 79, of Moline passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at his home.

A funeral service will be 3:30 on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. Moline. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will take place following the service and burial will be at Greenview at a later time. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Tom was born on August 7, 1947 in Moline the son of Albert and Josephine Barbier Bull. He married Carol Erskine on May 29, 1982 in Rock Island and she preceded him in death on October 8, 2005.

Tom was employed with Eagle Foods starting as a bagger moving to the produce department and retiring as the store director. He later worked at the West Locust Hy-Vee retiring in 2021. Tom was a graduate of Alleman High School class of 1965. He was a longtime Boy Scout having achieved his Eagle Scout. Tom loved stock car racing, NASCAR and going to the East Moline Speed Way and was a member of the East Moline Speedway Hall of Fame. He also loved the Kansas City Chiefs and Notre Dame football. Above all, he loved life, his family and never met a stranger.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carol; brother, Albert Bull Jr.; a sister, Rae Ann McKittrick and a granddaughter, Jennifer Jensen.
