Thomas E. Daxon, 84, of Moline died on August 15, 2015 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Funeral services will be 1:00 on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the National Cemetery on the Rock Island Arsenal. Military rites will be conducted by Moline American Legion Post #246. Memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Research.
Tom was born on January 13, 1931 in Rock Island to Joe and Stella Simmons Daxon. He married Patricia A. Ogden on July 2, 1952 in Moline.
Tom retired from John Deere as the Design Supervisor to the Tool and Die Department. He was a member of the S.M.E. and loved fishing and camping. Above all his love was spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years
