Thomas L. Long, 87, of Osco, IL, died Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline, IL.
A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 30, 2015, at Western Township Cemetery, where military honors will be conducted by the Orion American Legion Post 255 and the Orion V.F.W. Post 143. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd., Orion, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Thomas was born on April 15, 1928, in Osco, IL, the son of Leo L. and Elsie H. Pobanz Long. He farmed in Osco all of his life. He was a United States Army veteran, having proudly served in Korea, and was a member of Mary, Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Orion.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Ellen.
