Thomas Reed, 67, of Rock Island, IL, died Sunday, March 23, 2014, at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Bethel Assembly of God, 3535 38th Avenue, Rock Island, IL, 61201. Visitation will be from one hour prior to the service at the church. Per his wishes cremation rites have been accorded and inurnment was held at National Cemetery at Rock Island Arsenal. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Thomas was born on April 12, 1946, in Rock Island, IL, the son of John and Elenora (Findley) Reed. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1965 - 1968 during the Vietnam Era. Thomas retired from Case I.H.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Sharon (Reed) VanDeGenachte and Darlene (Clayton) Ream.
