Thomas "Tom" W. Matucha

Thomas “Tom” W. Matucha, 79, of Moline, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022, at Hope Creek Nursing and Rehab, East Moline.

Cremation rites will be accorded. Private graveside services will be held at Moline Memorial Park. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family.

Tom was born on December 29, 1942, in Moline, the son of Glenen H. and Frances Madaleen (Dowis) Matucha. He married Pansy L. Smith on May 16, 1965, in Moline. He was previously employed at Deere & Company. Tom was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Moline.

Survivors include his wife, Pansy; children, Jeff (Kerri) Matucha, Melissa (Lonnie) McDanel; granddaughter, Madaleen McDanel; nieces, Dianna Levendosky, and Helen Levendosky.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
