Tracey Rae Rutledge

Tracey Rae Rutledge, 58, of Orion, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021, at UnityPoint Health Trinity Rock Island, surrounded by her family.

Visitation will be from 4- 7 p.m., Friday, November 19, 2021, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Orion. Cremation rites will follow the visitation. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Tracey was born on May 2, 1963, in Moline, the daughter of Arthur and Patricia (Lingafelter) Wright.  She graduated from United Township High School in 1981. She met her husband, Dave Rutledge, at the age of 15. They later got married on July 31, 1982, in East Moline.

Growing up Tracey was well known for her role as being an Assistant Gymnastics Teacher. Tracey also enjoyed working as a hostess at the local restaurant, WooDog’s, where she adored her customers, and they loved her sassiness.  Tracey loved spending time with her family, baking and being outside in the sun. Tracey enjoyed her role as Mom and Nonna.

Survivors include her husband, Dave; children, Tyler (Megan) Rutledge, Bettendorf, IA, Taylor (Brooke) Rutledge Milan, IL, and Trisha (Justin) Ackerson, New Windsor, IL; grandchildren, Grant Rutledge, Theo Rutledge, Tatum Ackerson, Maxwell Rutledge and Teagan Ackerson; father, Arthur Wright, East Moline; siblings, Terri (David) Michl, Moline, and a brother, Greg (Candy) Wright, Gurnee, IL.

She was preceded in death by her mother.
