Vaeng Seangmany, 78, of East Moline, IL, died Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at home.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 2016, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2016, at the funeral home. Per her wishes, cremation rites will follow the services. Memorials may be made to the family.
Vaeng was born on August 4, 1937, in Sanakham, Laos, the daughter of Khun and Pengk Sayarath. She married Khampheng Seangmany in 1954 in Sanakham, Laos.
Vaeng enjoyed sewing, cooking, fishing, and most especially enjoyed time with her friends and family.
Survivors include her loving husband, Khampheng Seangmany; daughters, Kesone (Sompasong) Onelangsy, Amphone (Steve) Boyer, Impheng (Souk) Kongkousonh; sons, Sak (Senglao) Seangmany and Sombat (Crissy) Seangmany, Naly (Seng) Singha; grandchildren, David Seangmany, Bobby (Rosa) and Sonny Onelangsy, Eric Boyer, Vien and Vanh Kongkousonh, Asia Seangmany, Austin, Dylan, Alexi, Kashton Seangmany; great grandchildren, Carson Kongkousonh, Jonathon, Alyssa, Matthew, Christopher, and Isabella Onelangsy; nephew, Lucky Sayarath – Nouphone Vongmathep; Tony Sengrasmy; Alisia Bateman.
Above all, Vaeng was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, and sisters.
