Verna (Miller) Sprouse

Verna Sprouse, 72, of Silvis, passed away, Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis.

Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. Sunday, August 29, 2021, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline.  Private burial will be at Hampton Township Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Kings Harvest Pet Rescue No Kill Shelter.  Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline is assisting the family.

Verna was born on April 11, 1949, in Rock Island, the daughter of Vernon and Geneva (Anderson) Miller.  She married Ramon Sprouse Jr., on August 31, 1968.  He preceded her in death July 11, 2021.  Verna loved farm animals but especially her dogs.  She enjoyed gardening and stock car racing.

Survivors include her children, Brian (Amanda) Sprouse, and Lee Sprouse; grandchildren, Emma, and Camden Sprouse.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
