Violet Loretta Raisbeck, age 92, of Orion, died Friday, March 6, 2009 at Oak Glen Home, Coal Valley.
In accordance with Violet's wishes, private services will be held. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. Moline is assisting the family.
Violet was born February 18, 1917 in Coal Valley, the daughter of William and Mabel (Kropp) Miller. She married Louis Weaver in 1934 in Rock Island. He preceded her in death in 1947. She later married Wendell Raisbeck in October, 1965 in Orion. He preceded her in death in August, 2000.
Violet was employed in the Coal Valley and Orion areas. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by son-in-law Roy Hall, 2 sisters, and 6 brothers.
