Virginia Lee Beechamp

Virginia Lee Beechamp, 90, of Leesburg, FL, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday May 18, 2026, at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Visitation will be an hour prior to services at the funeral home. Interment will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the family, for a fund to be established.

Virginia was born on September 21, 1935, in Pleasant Plains, IL, the daughter of John and Frances (Ford) Penick. She married Lewis Eugene Beechamp; he preceded her in death in January of 1982. Virginia was a former member of the Sherrard Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed quilting, reading and being in a book club, and attending dinner theatre.

Survivors include her children, Steve Mrosko of FL, Bill (Lori) Mrosko of Colona, IL, Mark (Paula) Mrosko of TX, Richard (Jody) Beechamp of FL, Charlotte Blickle (Eddie Russell) of Leesburg, FL; brothers, John (Marge) Penick and Jim Penick of Springfield, IL; sister, Harriet Squires; 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
