Virginia L. Frank

Virginia L. Frank, 93, formerly of Orion, passed away, September 10, 2025, at New Perspective Senior Living, Silvis.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Orion. Cremation rites have been accorded. Inurnment will be at Beulah Cemetery. Memorials may be made to The Gathering or Alzheimer’s Association.

Virginia was born on October 29, 1931, in Manhattan, KS, the daughter of Ralph and Florence (Whiting) Gould. She married Robert W. Frank in Westmoreland, KS on January 28, 1951; he preceded her in death on November 7, 2020. Virginia enjoyed sewing, gardening and playing the piano or organ. She was a member of the Beulah Presbyterian Church, Orion for many years, and later, Heritage Church, Rock Island, and The Gathering, Moline.

Survivors include her sons, Richard (Stacci McIntyre) Frank, Rodney (Nancy) Frank, and Russell (Grace Zheng) Frank; grandchildren, Michele (Eric) Young, Kendra (Ryan) Connelly, Eric (Megan), Emily, Sophie, Isaac (Meagan), Lauren, Kirsten (Brennan), Daniel, and Andrew (Kiki); 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; daughter, Connie Gould; brother, Delbert Gould; and grandson, Ian Frank.
