Walton L. Christiason, 77, of Moline, IL, died Saturday, November 15, 2014, in Moline.
Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and inurnment will be at Moline Memorial Park at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Walton was born on January 17, 1937, in Moline, IL, the son of Verne and Lena Smith Christiason. He married Elaine Peterson on August 16, 1958, in Moline. He was a veteran, having proudly served the United States Army.
Walton worked in sales and display advertising for the Moline Dispatch for 45 years, retiring in 2001. More than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
