Wanda Rose Smith, 82, of Moline, IL, died Sunday, December 8, 2013, at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline, IL.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, December 12, 2013, at Moline Church of Christ, 4800 38th Street, Moline, IL. Inurnment will be at National Cemetery at Rock Island Arsenal. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Wanda was born on February 11, 1931, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Frank Oscar and Flossie Viola (Ford) Swanson. She married Jerald D. Smith, Sr. on February 16, 1951, in Moline and he preceded her in death in 2008.
Wanda enjoyed gardening and reading. More than anything she loved spending time with her family.
