-William T. Hawn, 70, of Moline, IL, died Thursday, May 1, 2014 at his residence.
Per his wishes cremation rites have been accorded. A time to share memories and visit with William's family will be Tuesday, May 6, 2014 from 4-5p. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601 34th Ave, Moline.
William was born on August 31, 1943, in Mercer County, IL, the son of William and Ora (Hughes) Hawn.
William worked at John Deere Plow Planter, Seeding Group retiring in 1999 after 35 years of service. He was a past Committeeman for the union, Local 434, and Andalusia Village Trustee, Andalusia Lions Club, Moline American Legion and Rock Island County Conservation Club. William enjoyed fishing and hunting.
William was honorably discharged from the US Army Reserves in 1970.
